WORK EXPERIENCE
Country Security Specialist - WORLD BANK, NAIROBI COUNTRY OFFICE
Key Responsibilities:
Security risk management: Day to day overseeing progress and implementation of security plans as per the policy framework and the management of the contracted security services including video surveillance system and armed guards.
Security awareness: Provided onboarding security awareness trainings and briefings for the new staff and all visiting missions and drafting of security advisories on risk mitigation in response to known and anticipated security scenario.
Regional coverage: Provided continuous coverage to multiple World Bank Country offices in East and Central Africa, ensuring safe operational environments for both World Bank staff and field programs.
Protective operations: Liaised with the host government security agents to ensure that all the staff and organizational assets are protected any security related danger and organize for high level visiting dignitaries’ close protection and escorts.
Emergency security support: Provided 24-hour on call emergency security support to all staff.
Uganda and Rwanda Country Offices - STA DEPLOYMENT
Key Responsibilities:
General management of WBG Corporate Security programs for both Rwanda and Uganda Country offices, including guard force supervision and performance tracking in line with the WBG Framework of Accountability.
Provide onboarding security awareness trainings and briefings for the new staff and all visiting missions and drafting of security advisories on risk mitigation in response to known and anticipated security scenarios.
Taking lead in advising the Country Office Crisis Management Team (CMT), maintain and update all the Country Office (CO) security plans.
Liaise with the host government security agents to ensure that all the staff and organizational assets are protected any security related danger and organize for high level visiting dignitaries’ close protection and escorts.
Take lead in the management and supervision of the local guard force contract management including the armed host country deployed police guards.

Monitored and Evaluation the project that led to the formulation of Administration Police Strategic Planning, initiated police reforms, revised and reviewed curriculum for police training.
