Visionary Leader in Security, Capacity Building & Organizational Development
Dr. Wilson Kiprono, Ph.D, HSC, brings over two decades of leadership in security management, capacity building, and institutional development. His expertise and passion for empowering people and organizations drive the mission and impact of CCB across Africa and beyond.

Expert in Security, Capacity Building & Strategic Leadership
I am a Security Management and Coordination expert with extensive experience managing complex security programs across Africa and the MENA region. I’ve had the privilege of supporting global organizations such as the World Bank Group (WBG) and the US State Department, where I led high-impact operations including crisis response, staff safety, and emergency relocations—notably coordinating the safe evacuation of WBG staff from Goma to Rwanda during the 2021 volcanic eruption.
In my role managing security for one of the largest World Bank portfolios in Nairobi, I developed strong liaison networks with government agencies, diplomatic missions, law enforcement, the United Nations, and international NGOs. I also supervised over 30 security focal points across Africa, enhancing protocols and response systems for RSC Africa.
As a certified Trainer of Trainers (ToT) and Gender Security Specialist, I’ve trained over 20 security professionals from faith-based INGOs (ACT Alliance) on gender-sensitive safety approaches. My areas of expertise include corporate security, counterterrorism, investigations, psychological support, stress management, and community policing.
With both academic grounding and hands-on experience, I offer strategic support in security planning, staff safety coordination, cross-cultural and territorial security awareness, and monitoring and evaluation of projects in high-risk environments. I approach every assignment with a strong commitment to accountability, collaboration, and tailored security solutions.
